Nido is designed to work without collecting your personal data.

What Nido stores, and where

Your pregnancy reference date, your counting mode, your appointments, and your app settings are stored in a local database on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, that same data is copied into your own private iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit — it moves directly between your devices through your iCloud account, protected the same way the rest of your iCloud data is. Nido has no server of its own, and nobody at Nido or Mohaioo can see this data.

Partner sharing

If you use partner sharing (a Nido Plus feature), your pregnancy record is shared through Apple CloudKit with the specific person you invite, the same way Apple's own apps share an iCloud folder or note. You control who has access and can stop sharing at any time.

Notifications and Calendar

If you allow notifications, Nido schedules local appointment reminders on your device — nothing about your appointments is sent anywhere for this to work. If you turn on Apple Calendar sync (a Nido Plus feature), Nido writes and updates events in a calendar you choose, using Apple's EventKit framework, entirely on-device.

Purchases

Nido Plus purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Nido receives only a yes/no signal about whether you're entitled to Plus — never your payment details, which Apple never shares with developers.

No tracking, no analytics, no ads

Nido does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software, does not build an advertising profile of you, and does not sell or share your data with anyone. This website doesn't either: it uses no cookies, no analytics and no external scripts.

Your control

Everything Nido stores lives in your device's Nido data; deleting the app deletes it (or, if iCloud sync is on, deleting it from iCloud through Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage removes the synced copy too). There is no account to delete because there is no account.

Children

Nido is intended for adults tracking their own pregnancy or a partner's; it is not directed at children.
